During the peak season of March 15th through September 30th, Kure Beach town parking spaces are metered and patrolled by parking attendants from 8am to 6pm. For the rest of the year, October 1st through March 14th, parking is free of cost in Kure Beach.

The cost to park in Kure Beach is $5 an hour from March 15th through September 30th. If you plan to stay more than four hours during your visit, purchasing the full day parking pass for $20 is the best way to go. You can also purchase a 7 day visitor pass for $100 or a full season visitor pass for $225.
This parking fee applies to all Kure Beach town-operated parking areas. You can pay for parking at conveniently located pay stations, with Premium Parking’s app, using your phone’s camera, or by following the text by phone options shown on signs throughout town.
Tips for parking in Kure Beach
Not all parking lots in Kure Beach are operated by the town. Private lots have their own hours and prices. Look for the Town of Kure Beach logo if you want to park in a town lot.
Handicap parking is free in handicap designated spaces only. Vehicles must display a valid handicap license plate, placard, or hang tag. A handicap vehicle parking in a regular parking spot must pay to park.
Purple Heart recipients with a Purple Heart license plate may park for free in any Kure Beach town space.
Kure Beach does not charge for church parking under certain conditions. On Sundays from 8am to 1pm marked spaces on Sixth Street and Third Street are free. At 1pm, paid parking begins in those areas.
Grabbing takeout? Kure Beach has parking spaces available for 30 minutes of free parking. These spaces are located on the south side of K Avenue from Fort Fisher to Atlantic Avenue.
Some parking spots in Kure Beach are reserved for golf carts only. Parking a regular vehicle in one of these spaces will result in a parking ticket.
