If you’re in town on Sunday night, make sure your plans include a movie by the lake. Presented by the Town of Carolina Beach, outdoor movies in Carolina Beach include a blend of new releases and classic family movies.
Presented on a giant inflatable screen adjacent to the lake, moviegoers will want to bring a something to sit on, whether it’s a beach chair, blanket, or camp chair. Coolers with non-alcoholic beverages and snacks are welcome. Reasonably priced concessions are available for purchase as well, including kid trays featuring popcorn, candy, and a drink.
Outdoor movies in Carolina Beach are free and begin at dusk, usually after 8:30 pm. Watch the weather, if it’s rainy or very windy, the movie will be cancelled and not rescheduled.
Grab a chair and a blanket and make the most of your Sunday night in Carolina Beach!
Carolina Beach Movies at the Lake
Bring your chairs early to claim a spot. I recommend dropping them off about an hour before showtime.
You can pull onto the road across from Hang Ten’s parking lot for easy loading and unloading.
Be Courteous. If you have taller camping chairs, sit towards the back. Let the blankets and low beach chairs occupy the front rows.
